Rumpy joined our family in May 1995. Inspite of his name, he is not always grumpy, he has even learned to smile like a Dal ! He has the waggiest tail I have ever seen on a Lhasa but at times it becomes a bit threadbare when he insists on chasing it and catching it ! He pretends not to be friends with Rupert, my male dallie, and when they are in the garden together, he flies across the grass after Rupert telling him to behave himself. Rumpy is the loyalist dog I have ever met and would protect me if the need arose.

In December 95, Rumpy and Fudge had a litter of 5 puppies, 2 girls and 3 boys. In March 98, Rumpy fathered another litter of puppies with a lovely gold lhasa known as "Chi - Chi". They had 5 puppies, again 2 girls and 3 boys. Rumpy is now a veteran and retired from the show ring. |
